TrimWorks goes modern
Soo,
havent put in any posts in awhile - been busy busy busy. Thought I would post a few more pictures of recent projects, including a stair case that has been a huge headache, but turned out really well.
I did the design for it, and then had to spot-engineer almost everything after. the Newel posts are poplar, and the balusters a marine-grade stainless cable. Handrails are two-piece milled poplar, and are mounted with brushed aluminum brackets. Stair treads are oak, (4 custom, 8 store-bought). Pictures below are in the "almost-finished" stage. more pictures to follow.
<- The window casing is also out work - custom made for 5-unit pella, from poplar and select pine
I am working on a sample of some brazilian cherry countertops - just got a sweet new thickness planer that is a dream. if i get some down time this week, I will put one together. Also coming up - a mantle surround from our antique pine beams - those can be found at my hardwood trader site.
We are also looking for some commercial jobs. We really, really, reaaaaly want to build a bar. So if you are looking to open one, please give us a call - we really want the opportunity.
